A magical and unique venue for your special day. The Windmill is an ideal location for a small romantic wedding. Just imagine the photographs! Cley Windmill is on the Norfolk coast and one of England`s most photographed buildings.

This lovely windmill sleeps up to 18 in round and rectangular rooms, all furnished with style and with splendid views.

The sunsets from here are unforgettable!

An 18th Century windmill now renovated to simple boutique standards, the Cley Windmill near Wells-next-to-the-Sea has character in spades.

The old grain store, barley bin, stables and the original milling area, house seven comfortable rooms with scattered cushions and rugs, chunky sofas and antique, clawfoot baths.

We have a full wedding licence and can accomodate a maximum of 18 people in our magnificent circular sitting room which is where the wedding ceremony takes place.

We offer two options:
1. The ceremony alone, with champagne reception in the garden
or
2. Take the entire windmill for the wedding and reception with a house party afterwards. We can accomodate 14-20 people. Accomodation includes bed and breakfast, with tea and dinner if required.

The Windmill is such an unforgettable setting for a wedding, demand is high and we often receive bookings upto 3 years in advance!

We aim to gear the entire day around exactly what you want - some people just like a very small and informal affair, others like something slightly larger and more formal.
