The first dance can be one of the most romantic moments of the day and a real tear jerker for the guests. It can also be a really nerve racking experience for those taking part! Remember – it is your choice if you choose to do a first dance – don’t be forced in to it but make sure you inform your DJ or band and your best man/best woman to ensure nobody puts pressure on you on the big day.
If you choose to do a first dance think about a song that is special for both of you perhaps based on the words of the song or a memory from a time in your relationship. If you want the band to play it – make sure they know it and if you want the DJ to play it, make sure he or she has it! Do not spring it on them on the day.
