Staffordshire Mansion Opens its Doors...

Heath House, a stunning Gothic Revival Mansion near Stoke-on-Trent, will be opening its doors for the first time on Sunday 21^st February, for a magnificent Wedding Open Day.... Guests will be invited to look around this beautiful Victorian House and see for themselves how it has been transformed over the last year, after being visited by the formidable Ruth Watson for the Channel 4 programme ‘Country House Rescue’. After visiting the House last year, Ruth realised the huge potential Heath House had and recommended that the family open the House for weddings, corporate entertaining and private events. The Philips family purchased the House back in the 1680s and it has been in their family for five generations. They were therefore reluctant to sell the House and were looking for ways in which they could generate enough revenue, to allow the family to stay living there. Since Ruth’s visit, the Phillips family have undertaken major refurbishment work and employed the services of Portcullis Event Management, to help manage all of their private events and functions.

It will now be available for the first time on an exclusive-use basis for meetings, conferences, corporate hospitality, and weddings or indeed for anyone looking for a palatial party venue!

Accommodation is available for up to 12 people, with dining capacity for up to 120 guests in the main house, with the additional option of a marquee in the grounds. There are three rooms within the house that are licensed for civil ceremonies, the largest being the Dining Room, which can seat up to 70 guests. In addition to this, the Victorian Conservatory provides a unique setting for couples wishing to hold their ceremony outdoors. For larger numbers, marquees can be located within the beautiful grounds, where guests can enjoy the stunning views across the 212 acre parkland and surrounding countryside. Easily accessible, and within an hours drive of Manchester, Birmingham and Leicester, Heath House is easily accessible from the A50 and only 10 minutes from Junction 15 of the M6.
